Anthony Mount Tuxford Double Side Rod live steam engine for sale. Another impressive engine. Runs very well on air, slowly too. Nicely mounted with it's brass name plate. The large flywheel could be remachined to remove a bit of it's laterial movement to make it spot on.
With the two flywheels and double side rod it's a mesmeric engine to observe running slowly.
Wooden base is approx 7" x 9". Metal base is 5.25" x 6.25". Height is 12". Large flywheel is 8.25" diameter.

Brunell Side Rod Table live steam engine for sale. A lovely looking and impressive engine. Some very good machining and nicely mounted. This engine runs very wel on air, slowly too. There is a bit of movement/flex on the flywheel side of the crank meaning the flywheel does have some laterial movement. Could be addressed or not noticable running side on of course. Needs a belt for the govenor.
Does have a lovely feel to the engine when run slowly. One of the more mesmeric engines to watch. Has a brass name plate too.
Wooden base is approx 5" x 11.5". Height is 8" including govenor. 5" diameter flywheel.
