3.5" Rob Roy live steam 0-6-0 tank loco for sale. Martin Evans design Caledonian railway dockyard engine.
A good looking loco, copper boiler with superheaters, brakes and water pump. Never been steamed, just displayed by the current owner. Previously sold by Antique Steam (Birmingham) who, at the time, stated she ran on air and that the boiler was pressure tested. This was a while ago so will need re testing and perhaps some recommissioning. There is no paperwork.
A really good looking engine, paintwork is ok, not to a hight standard so could be improved. Boiler and backhead do look very tidy, as do the cylinders etc.
We also have a perfect size display case for a Rob Roy, to be purchased separately, if required.
