Quite lovely, antique 1920's (according to previous owner and would seem correct) 43.5" Windermere type live steam Launch. Gas fired. Boiler commissioned from a Cheddar steam boiler maker, gas tank and V twin engine. Launch has a 8.5" beam, very elegant indeed. Super hull detail.
Boiler is approx 3.5" diameter and 5" tall (Boiler body). Boiler will need retesting but given it's built by a Cheddar boiler maker we don't anticipate any issues. The steam plant is obviously an upgrade, however if you would prefer an older steam plant, for aesthetic reasons, we do have other options, however this installed plant is perhaps more useable. There is a gas valve shut off when the water level gets too low, a good safety feature. Will need testing to check before using.
There is some RC gear installed. I guess this will need looking at before using, it's not been tested but it's quite simply servos, etc.. Battery pack will need replacing I expect.
A real gem, a rare display item too. The crafts bow and stern lines are extremely attractive, a real hark back to the old days.
