ACHINGLY GOOD, 2" Fowler Showmans live steam traction engine. Built from castings, not kit built. Very, very, very fine. I really can't say much more but put the photos up for you to see. This the only traction engine from a builder, who's limited number of intricate and powerful 5" gauge locomotives have sold to very serious collectors. This Fowler Showmans is by far the finest out of the 7 or 8 Fowlers and Burrells I have owned over the last decade +.
- 45" total length. Canopy is 42" long.
- 15" wide across rear wheels, however Canopy is 15.5" wide.
- Rear wheels are 14.5" diameter with the tyres, approx 13.25" diameter without if removed.
- Height to Canopy top is 23.5", total height is approc 26.25" with chimney extension flat.
Copper boiler also made by the maker. This engine has never been run, and although was built to run, was just displayed. Has never been owned outside of the builder's family. We do feel very fortunate to have acquired her.
Lights currently connected to a battery switch pack.
