7 1/4" Tom Rolt 0-4-2 , narrow gauge live steam tank loco for sale.
Wonderful loco with professional John Ellis Copper boiler with original certification. Being a narrow gauge, this is a large loco and great passenger hauling capability. It was built by Brian Patton and featured in the 7 1/4" gauge society. Rear of the cab and cab roof removable for easy driving access.
"Tom Rolt" is of course Talyllyn Railway No. 7, named after the first General Manager of the railway. Boiler history present, just out of ticket so will need retest.
We also have a superb driver's truck, by Ride On Railways, with wind down brakes, coal chute, water tank, water level indicator, electric water pump & vacuum pass through pipe. It was purchased just a year ago and seen no use, it is basically new. Originally cost £1,428, and photos are shown above.
We also have acquired two more trucks from the same owner, one is a passenger wagon with padded seat & folding foot rests and the second is a driver's truck with coal bunker, vacuum brakes and folding foot rests. Photos agian, shown above.
A really quite lovely setup for anyone wanting a very well built engine, with excellent detail, superb passenger pulling capability, and the reassurance of a John Ellis boiler.
Price: £ 15,950. Driver's truck will be an extra amount. (No additional VAT to add)
Happy to consider a loco, traction, or stationary/marine/aero engines as a part exchange.
