1" Minnie live steam traction engine projetc for sale. Reeves castings for this popular and well liked L.C. Mason designed traction engine. Previous owner indicated it is a full set of castings from Reeves including the machined gears. As you can see the wheels are almost finished along with the smokebox and chimney. The cylinder has not yet been machined.
We also have a new in 2022 Professionally built copper boiler by Helen at Western Steam. The boiler has been stamped and confirmed by Western Steam.
We are happy to sell the part built kit without the boiler should you already have a boiler or have plans to build your own.
Currently the RRP is £706 for the casting set, and wheel spokes and strakes are £96. The set of 8 gears is an additional £192. That makes a total of £994. Please note the steering worm gear is not present and is £57 from Reeves.
