An unusual and well made Bob Middleton Experimental engine.
Woodnen base is 8.5" x 7", Aluminium engine base is 6 5/8" x 5". Total height (on base) is 11". Flywheel is 5 3/4" diameter.
This engine runs nicely on air. Turns over smoothly. There is a little movement in the flywheel that could be easily addressed with a new bush, but nothing major.
A lovly looking and rare engine that I have not seen before. A great addition to any steam collection.
