Galloway's very impressive Non Dead Centre live steam engine for sale. An Anthony Mount engine. A design patented in 1838 by Elijah Galloway. A self starting, single crank, twin cylinder engine.
Runds nicely on air and is a very impressive engine to watch running or just in static form. The builder installed a motor and crontroller between the base and the engine plate, with pulley belt and guard, as you can see on the last couple of photos. This has been removed (could be easily reinstalled) to enable access to a pipe for an air line. The electric controller has been left in place as it's not visually offensive. The pipework could be routed a little better. The motion does have elements of play that could be improved upon. Not a fine exhibition example, but a good model nevertheless.
These complicated and intricate engines rarely come up for sale. An impressive engine that will likely turn many heads.
Wooden base is 19" x 12". She is approx 13" tall an has a 9" flywheel. Total weight is 17.2 Kg.
Price: £ 2,895 (No additional VAT to add)
