3" Burrell live steam Traction engine with Western Steam Professionally made Copper Boiler in 2024 with all certificates/paperwork.
This has been a long project and almost finished. It has been run on air and steamed to prove/test all works. She is fully painted (dark green and ready for the new owner to select their own lining colour) and looks complete. The jobs to do include, governor making, axel keyway to cut, axel gears to cut (blanks present and machined ready), also differential gears and winch / cable barrel gear to cut (again blanks present and machined ready). We also have a good number of build history photos. This does look to be a very well built engine and certainly looks the part. The previous owner's only comment was that the flywheel centre hole has been slightly over machined but runs true with an insert shim. This of course could be bushed if needed, a minor point but worth mentioning.
The Helen boiler has all it's certs and paperwork, a recent boiler made in Feb 2024. Understood parts and castings acquired from the Plastow Bridport foundary (Grove Works).
Approx 45" long, 20" wide and 30" tall. Flywheel 11.5" diameter, 17" rear wheels (including Tyres), and 10.75" front wheels (including tyres).
