5" Gauge Dougal part built narrow gauge live steam loco for sale. Original engine built by Andrew Barclay Sons & Co Kilmarnock in 1946. Built to work at Provan Gasworks in Glasgow. Later purchased by Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway and steamed there in 1975.
Chassis runs like a dream on a small air compressor. Runs very smoothly at low speeds too. Wonderful.
This model is very unusual and will be a lovely interesting loco when finished.
Work done by an accomplished loco and traction engine builder. Motion turns over nicely. Boiler needs backhead and foundation ring finishing.
Castings and drawing by Reeves if required.
