Rishton milling head / column for Harrison M300 Lathe or similar. In excellent condition, made for Harrison by Riston. Base could be changed or adapted and fixed to the rear of another lathe, or mount the column next to a compound table for a stand anlone machine. All gear speeds work well. Three phase motor.
Spindle is MT2, you will need to make a threaded draw bar, but I will see what I have. Please just ask. One quill handle is missing, often one is removed to make it easier and quicker to use, or if it fouls the bed. The small rotating handle (on the rear vertical axis) is slightly bent. Not the main handle, just the side bar piece. Easily sorted.
We do have another Riston head (with single phase motor, no column), in green. Please call.
Rishton are excellent quality milling machine and not to be confused with most of the lesser makes. I have always liked the side handle for the vertical column, much, much more useable than those at the top or bottom at the back.
