Possibly the best Connoisseur big bore spindle Myford out there? Even the plastic film covering the Myford plate on the lift up cover, and side cover, has yet to be removed.
This Myford was one of the lathes officially finished by Myford in Nottingham. This means that it has to be considered as one of the best (if not the best) Myfords out there and would have passed all Myford's stringent tolerance tests.
Was originally sold to a good friend of Chris Moore, well prior to the Nottingham factory closing. It was purchased, delivered and not used once. It was been stored in a heated room next to a brand new Myford VM-E, variable speed, milling machine. The Myford VM_E might be available for purchase, however the owner will need a good offer to be persuaded to sell. I do have a photo if required, let me know.
I have wiped the lathe over, prior to taking the photos. There was absolutely no sign of use. There is a scratch across the front of the control box and some minor scratches on the back of the cabinet.
Plugs into your single phase household electricity supply, with controller for digital rpm variable speed.
Comes with a 125mm 3 jaw chuck, faceplate, oils, plug/cable & catchplate. Other accessories available. Wheels will be removed from cabinet prior to sell.
