A quality milling slide with the addition of a tool holding fisture. Inside diameter of the fixture is approx 9.4mm, just under 3/8". As the fixture (black insert) rotates it moves from side to side as it's OD is threaded. It is clamped by the knurled thumb wheel.
The inside hole is parallel and could be modified or used to hold, for example, round cutting steel, or perhaps another application. An interesting items that could have many uses. Very well made/adapted.
Could also be used on a grinder or milling machine.
