Very nice Myford Norton Gearbox for sale. This one was purchased new from Myford Nottingham, installed on an ML7. Please note this gearbox has not been re-painted, this is original !!
The side cover is for a Myford ML7. This gearbox will also fit an ML7R or Super 7 lathe however the top profile of the side cover is different, in fact the onlt difference. You can make do with this cover or acquire a Super 7 one in due course.
Please remeber this lathe has not been taken off a well used lathe. As importantly it is also the model with hardened gears.
Comes with all the bolts, stud, and gears needed. We also have a correct length leadscrew that we will be happy to sell or part exchange for yours.
Please call if interested as nice gearboxs are becoming harder to find.
I can also offer a fitting service. If you are happy to bring your lathe to me I will fit it. You can watch if you like or have a walk over the local fields.
