An extremely accomplished live steam model engineer built this excellent Stent Tool & Cutter Grinder from Blackgates castings. It's a wonderful thing. Bed and finished surfaces look first class. Motor runs smoothly but might need a new belt as current belt has slight kink from being in tension.

The engineer who built this also made a couple of stunning 3.5" locos which I also acquired. A 9F Evening Star and LBSC's Atlantic Maisie. He is now working on a 3.5" Britannia.

This tool & cutter grinder's slidways seem very smooth with nicely graduated hand wheels. The rack is a joy to operate.
